Earn Halo Reach Credits Fast

In September 2010 Halo: Reach was introduced to Halo fans nationwide. The fourth game in the Halo franchise offers players unique game maps, dozens of achievements, and the online multiplayer features that have helped make Halo a favorite with gamers. Once a Halo: Reach player begins playing online, the number of credits earned in offline play is limited by Bungie. If you are a Halo player who is tired of dying during competitive matchmaking games, there are a couple things you can do to enjoy Halo while earning tons of credits.

Test Your Skills With Score Attack

Score attack is one of three cooperative matchmaking options available for people who want to earn credits without playing against other members or on teams. The party size for score attack is one, so this means you will play by yourself. For 15 minutes you will face different enemy attacks while defending a certain map.

Earn credits by killing enemies and unlocking new achievements. One of the best ways to earn credits is to play “Gruntpocalypse” while aiming for heads shots If you aren't good at head shots (which take the grunts down in one shot), try other versions of score attack until you find a map that suites you. Each game of score attack lasts 15 minutes, or until you run out of lives.

Join a Rocketfight

Firefight is another cooperative matchmaking game option. Many players find the 30 minute game time daunting, but the unlimited lives and simple goal makes the game type perfect for those who are trying to earn as many credits as possible. Though firefight has many map and weapons options, choosing “rocketfight” will increase your chances of making multiple kills which boosts the numbers of credits you earn.

Complete Challenges

Yes, everyone one giving advice on earning credits always mentions daily and weekly challenges. There is a reason for that. Completing challenges is a way to earn a few thousands credit for doing what you want; playing Halo: Reach! Trying to finish challenges also makes the game more enjoyable by giving you a clear goal to meet or beat.

Finish Games

Halo: Reach players have the option of leaving games early. While it is true everyone leaves a game early at some point when life happens, if you can stick the game out. Bungie has started a credit lottery for all players who continuously finish their games. I've received over 1,000 credits just for finishing a game I planned to complete anyway.

I have never tried any of these game types and its good to know. I usually will only play Big Team Battle. In fact, I think thats the only game type that I've played. Its just so addicting. Great article.

If you are trying to earn more credits doing something than Big Team Battle try Firefight Arcade or Firefight Doubles. Both game types were added after I published this article and both give me 4000+ credits per game. Score Attack is a good option when trying to beat certain challenges in one game especially (for me) headshot challenges.
